Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Jizzakh region, with the support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), it is planned to build a 220 kV Zafarabad substation with a modern digital control system. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

The Asian Development Bank approved the tender documentation, developed jointly with the design institute of JSC "Uzenergoengineering", and agreed to announce an international tender to determine the general contractor.

An international tender competition for the construction of a new digital substation "Zafarabad" on a turnkey basis, based on the requirements of the Asian Development Bank, will soon be announced on the website of the National Electricity Networks of Uzbekistan JSC.
