GM Uzbekistan’s sales in Russia drop by 58% in 1Q

Sales of automobiles of GM Uzbekistan in Russia decrease by 58% year-on-year in January-March 2015 to 5,411 units, the statement of the Automobile Manufacturers Committee of the Association of European Businesses said.
According to the committee, the enterprise realized 1,757 automobiles in Russia in March 2015, which fell by 62% compared to March of 2014.
Share of GM Uzbekistan in Russian market made up 1.4% in January-March 2015 against 2.1% in the same period of 2014, the committee said.
In the reporting period, GM Uzbekistan claimed the 20th place on sales of automobiles in Russia. None of the models of GM Uzbekistan entered to Top-25 bestsellers in the Russian market.
