Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- GM Uzbekistan will increase production of two popular models of cars, the press service of the company said in a statement.

The car manufacturer noted that it will increase the production of Nexia and Malibu models.

GM Uzbekistan increased the production of Nexia cars with a manual transmission in August to 3,501 units. The company intends to increase the production of this model in September to 4,143 units. The volume of production of this model by the end of the year will be 34804 units, the company said.

It is also planned to increase the production of Malibu cars from 240 units per month to 2200 units per month.

The company said that it is making every effort to increase production of other models of cars in the coming months, taking into account the high demand and expectations of customers.
