Gas refueling station explodes in Qoqand
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A fire occurred at the gas refueling station “Sayohat”, located in Furqat street of Qoqand city of Ferghana region, due to incomplete compliance of technology of fueling liquid gas on 24 April 2015, the press service of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
The fire occurred at 20:30. In the result of the fire, two tankages blasted in the territory of the gas fueling station.
An employee of the station and two fire-fighters received injuries during fire extinguishing and they were hospitalized with various levels of burns.
Currently, the fire fighters are determining the size of damage, caused to the station. The investigation is underway on the case.
