French envoy holds meeting with Deputy Agriculture and Water Management Minister
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France in Uzbekistan Jacques-Henry Heuls met with Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Water Management of Uzbekistan Shavkat Hamraev on 4 March 2015.
According to the press service of Embassy of France in Tashkent, the meeting was held within preparation to conference on climate change COP21, which will be held in Paris.
Along with participation of Uzbekistan at the conference COP21 in December 2015, the sides considered issues of bilateral cooperation in agriculture sector, including current projects on reconstruction of pump stations, husbandry, irrigation and food industry.
Ambassador informed Shavkat Hamraev on upcoming events in economic sphere, including visit of the delegation of MEDEF International.
The sides also discussed participation of Uzbekistan in various international exhibitions, which will be held in France in 2015.
