The Ministry of Internal Affairs said that the road accident occurred on the morning of February 20 at the 1553rd km of the M41 "Bishkek-Dushanbe-Termez" highway on the territory of the Jarkurgan district.

The driver of the Lacetti T. Shamatov (born in 1988) failed to manage his car and the vehicle fell into the irrigation ditch near the road.

The driver was hospitalized with injuries. Passengers Z. Mardonov (1985), D. Juraev (1993), M. Abduhayirova (1997) and T. Eshmirzaeva (1995) died from the injuries at the scene.
