Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Syrdarya region is also among the regions of Uzbekistan, where patients with coronavirus infection recovered.

For the first time in this region, 4 patients were cured of coronavirus. With the participation of senior officials of the regional health department, they were transferred for rehabilitation.

All recovered are men, they are one from Ferghana, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya and Jizzakh regions. Three of them arrived from the Republic of Kazakhstan and were quarantined; after the coronavirus was detected, they were hospitalized. One citizen became infected as a result of contact with a patient. The oldest of them is 48 years old, and the youngest is 33 years old.

To date, 1,059 people have been cured of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan.
