Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Hematology was created on the basis of the Scientific Research Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.

The center will provide organizational and methodological guidance for the activities of the hematology departments of medical organizations of the Ministry of Health.

Starting from 1 April 2020, the Center is subject to the current procedure related to the conduct of activities of the republican specialized medical centers of the Ministry of Health.

A foundation has been created to promote the recovery of people suffering from hematological and intractable diseases under the Ministry of Health without the status of a legal entity.

The list of oncohematological and intractable diseases to be diagnosed and treated at the expense of the Foundation is approved by the Ministry of Health.
