Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - We express our deep condolences to family members and relatives of an outstanding scientist, specialist who has made a great contribution to the development of the banking sector of Uzbekistan for many years, the former Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Economics Ashur Kadyrov, in connection with an irreparable loss.
Ashur Kadyrov was born on 23 September 1953 in the city of Gijduvan, Bukhara region. In 1974 he graduated from the Tashkent Institute of National Economy (now the Tashkent State Economic University).
He received his Ph.D. from the Moscow Financial Institute, and defended his doctoral dissertation at the St. Petersburg University of Finance and Economics under the guidance of Professor V.S. Gerashchenko.
Over the years, Kadyrov worked in the departments of "Monetary Circulation and Credit" and "International Monetary Relations" of the Tashkent State Economic University.
From 1996 to 2006, Ashur Kadyrov held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in 2006-2017 he was an advisor to the Chairman of the Board of the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank "Microcreditbank" and made a great contribution to the development of the banking sector of Uzbekistan.
Ashur Kadyrov devoted the last years of his life to teaching young people, worked as director of the Training Center of the joint-stock commercial bank "Microcreditbank" and brought up many students.
Kadyrov is the author of a number of scientific articles on topical economic issues. One of the last scientific works of the scientist is the monograph "Transition to the digital economy through the management of the family economy", co-authored with academician Sh.A. Ayupov, was published in July 2019.
The professor was highly respected among his colleagues not only for his professional qualities, but also for his human ones.
