Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Qatar discuss Middle East Situation in Phone Cal

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, reported a phone conversation with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.

During the call, the officials exchanged views on the current situation in the Middle East.

Bakhtiyor Saidov expressed Uzbekistan’s solidarity with Qatar and conveyed sincere condolences on behalf of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The ministers also emphasized the importance of strictly upholding the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the non-use of force as fundamental pillars of international relations.
