Final Matches of the Uzbekistan Hand-to-Hand Combat Championship Begin in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan Hand-to-Hand Combat Championship for juniors and adults is currently underway at the “Universal” Sports Complex in Tashkent, with the final matches now taking place.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Uzbekistan Hand-to-Hand Combat Federation and Commander of the National Guard, Colonel General Bahodir Tashmatov, Minister of Sports Adkham Ikramov, and Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Oybek Kasimov.

In their speeches, officials expressed support for the athletes and wished them success in their performances.

Winners of the final matches were awarded and recognized by the tournament organizers. The championship will continue through 12 February.
