Fiji appoints first envoy to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received a newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Fiji to Uzbekistan with residence in Soule (South Korea) Filimoni Kau on 17 February 2015.

First Ambassador of Fiji to Uzbekistan handed over his credentials, addressed to the President of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

At the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats, as well as proposals on agreement-legal bases of relations.

The officials of two states also discussed some international issues.
