Fifth Meeting of Women Leaders under the “Europe – Uzbekistan – AGMK” Project Held at the Ministry of Geology and Mining

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 11 February 2026, the Ministry of Geology and Mining of Uzbekistan hosted the fifth meeting of women leaders within the framework of the “Europe – Uzbekistan – AGMK” project.

The event was attended by First Deputy Minister F. Khamidova, Regional Director of KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH Y. Galitsyna, trader at Trafigura M. Samoilova, Regional Director of Jebsen & Jessen Industrial Solutions GmbH Stefanie Meyer-Sidov, Member of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan K. Ermatova, as well as staff from the ministry’s enterprises.

Opening the meeting, the First Deputy Minister highlighted the importance and relevance of the topics under discussion.

Special guest Executive Director of Engineering Dobersek GmbH N. Dobersek delivered a presentation titled “Personal Strategy of a Woman Leader in International Engineering and Industrial Projects.”

During the panel session “Personal Strategy of a Woman Leader,” participants discussed thematic cases and shared personal experiences.

Additionally, Advisor to the Minister Z. Akhmedova spoke on “Language, Values, and Leadership: Communication as the Foundation of Management Strategy,” and Head of Department N. Dulabova presented “Leadership in Geology: The Professional Path of a Woman Executive in Regional Management.”

The event served as a platform for exchanging experiences and developing effective strategies to advance women’s leadership in Uzbekistan’s industrial and engineering sectors, while strengthening international cooperation and professional networks.
