FIFA announces new ranking of national team

FIFA, world football governing body, announced new ranking of national teams for December 2010.
In new ranking, Uzbekistan took the 109th place with 275 points. Compared previous ranking, Uzbekistan lost three places.
Among the CIS states, Uzbekistan took the ninth place after Russia (13th place), Ukraine (34), Belarus (38), Lithuania (55), Georgia (73), Latvia (78), Moldavia (84) and Azerbaijan (98).
In the AFC, Uzbekistan is placed on the 15th place after Australia (26), Japan (29), Korea (40), Iran (66), Saudi Arabia (81), China (87), Bahrain (93), Oman (99), Iraq (101), Kuwait (102), Jordan (104), UAE (105), Syria (107) and DPR Korea (108).
