Ferghana Region and AHA Launch Joint Project in Electronics and Healthcare
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Governor of Ferghana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held a meeting with Mr. Koo Ki-dong, CEO of South Korean company AHA Co., Ltd.
The meeting focused on a promising US$20 million investment project aimed at establishing a production facility in the city of Ferghana for electronic whiteboards and charging stations for electric vehicles.
The enterprise will locally manufacture and export interactive flat panel displays (IFPDs), EV charging stations, medical equipment for the healthcare sector, and other high-tech products for both domestic and international markets.
During the talks, the parties agreed to jointly coordinate efforts to successfully implement the pilot project, building on concrete proposals. Governor Bozorov reiterated the region’s commitment to supporting mutually beneficial investment initiatives of this nature.
Also attending the meeting was Park Jun-ho, Rector of the Korea International University in Ferghana.
It is worth noting that in November last year, a delegation from Ferghana Region led by Governor Bozorov visited South Korea and held negotiations with AHA Co., Ltd. These talks resulted in initial cooperation agreements, which are now being actively developed through practical steps.
AHA Co., Ltd is recognized as a leading global manufacturer of educational and medical technology solutions.
