As you know, earlier the quality of diesel fuel produced at the Ferghana Refinery (FNPZ) did not exceed the EURO-2 standards. In order to bring the quality in line with world standards, as part of the first stage of the FNPZ modernization program, the catalyst at the diesel hydrotreating unit (GDS) was replaced with a new and more modern catalyst from the French company Axens.

It should be noted that thanks to the many years of experience of the FNPZ specialists, the new catalyst was independently loaded into the reactor of the GDS unit without the participation of Axens specialists. Later, after the appropriate commissioning works, industrial production was established, and a certificate of conformity for environmentally friendly and high-quality diesel fuel of the EURO-4 standard was obtained.

Today, on March 29, the first batch of diesel fuel of the EURO-4 standard, which was not previously produced at the plant, was put up for sale through the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.
