Fazlitdin Salomov Appointed as Deputy Head of EcoPolice

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Fazlitdin Salomov has been appointed deputy chairman of the National Committee on Ecology and Climate and deputy chief of the State Environmental Control Inspectorate, known as EcoPolice. The appointment was signed by Saida Mirziyoyeva, head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan.

Born in Tashkent in 1966, Salomov graduated from the Tashkent Institute of National Economy in 1990 and the Tashkent State University of Law in 2007. In 2011, he was awarded the Order “For Selfless Service.”

The State Environmental Control Inspectorate was established in November 2025 and is authorized to use physical force, stun devices, rubber bullets, and nets to enforce environmental legislation.
