Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11 February, a meeting was held between representatives of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the financial conglomerate AKD Group (Pakistan).

AKD Group is a large Pakistani investment corporation founded in 1973 and currently operating in real estate, brokerage and financial services, natural resource extraction and information and communication technology.

Within the framework of the meeting, the foreign side was informed about the ongoing transformational reforms in the oil and gas industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and about the current achievements and promising goals of Uzbekneftegaz.

In turn, the AKD Group corporation expressed interest in developing long-term cooperation with Uzbekneftegaz in the field of joint organization of oil and gas supplies to Pakistan, which will undoubtedly ensure an increase in the export of oil products abroad.

As a result of the meeting, the parties reached agreements on the development of bilateral cooperation between AKD Group and Uzbekneftegaz on export issues.
