Explosion at ginnery in Kattakurgan kills two people

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 February 2018, an explosion occurred at Kattakurgon Pakhta Tozalash (Kattakurgon Ginnery) at 16:00 of 12 February.

The explosion occurred due to leak of gas from the stove pipes, installed at the shop of the enterprise.

In the result of the blast, the part of the building and roof collapsed, the Office of Public Relations and Media of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan said.

Two employees of Kattakurgon Pakhta Tozalash were killed at the scene.
