Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the framework of the Memorandum signed on 17 October 2019 the organization of expert consultations on licensing and labeling, as well as the introduction of an automated information system for recording the volume of alcoholic beverages was planned to be held between the Inspectorate for regulation of the alcohol and tobacco market under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Federal Service on regulation of the alcohol market of the Russian Federation.
According to the agreements reached a delegation of experts of the Federal Service on regulation of the alcohol market of the Russian Federation arrived in Uzbekistan. Experts visited and studied the activities of four alcohol refineries (JSC “Bektemir spirt”, JSC “Biokimyo”, JSC “Andijon biokimyo”, JSC “Kookon-spirt”) and several wine-vodka enterprises (LLC “Farovon”, JSC “Toshkentvino” Combinate, JV LLC “Fergana France”).
Based on the results of meetings and negotiations with the managers and technologists of the above enterprises, experts prepared a draft of an order and a number of recommendations regarding the mechanisms for installing measuring instruments (electronic meters) on these enterprises.
