Experts, businesses discuss perspectives of economic interaction between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan

It was attended by representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, business association, scientific-analytical centers, mass media, and others.

Kazakh Ambassador to Uzbekistan Erik Utembaev made a speech and talked about trade-economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, cooperation of border regions and development of production, realization of which will help to increase trade turnover to US$5 billion.

During the meeting, the sides discussed cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, tax and customs conditions of doing business, development of transit-transport infrastructure, etc.

Chairperson of the Association of Businesswomen of Uzbekistan Gulnara Mahmudova called to boost business contacts between two states, including businesswomen.

The participants agreed to hold similar events on regular basis to boost trade-economic cooperation. Kazakh envoy said that Embassy of Kazakhstan is ready to help the Uzbek companies to enter the markets of Kazakhstan.
