Enterprises of Uzbekistan produces industrial products worth 194.9 trillion soums

 

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data, in January-July 2020, enterprises of Uzbekistan produced industrial products worth 194.9 trillion soums, the index of physical volume of industrial production compared to the same period in 2019 made up 97.4%. In the structure of production, the largest share falls on the manufacturing industry (81.7%), the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

The main factors behind the decline in the physical volume of industrial production were its decrease in mining and quarrying enterprises - by 24.2%, water supply, sewerage, waste collection and disposal - by 8.3%, while there was an increase in the volume in the manufacturing industry - by 2.7%, production in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning - by 9.4%.

The volume of products produced by mining and quarrying enterprises in January-July 2020 made up 19.2 trillion soums, or 9.9% of the total industry.

Compared to the same period of 2019, there is an increase in the production of kaolin by 53.0%, crushed stone - by 0.8% and oil - by 3.5%. At the same time, there is a decrease in the production of gas condensate by 31.6%, gravel - by 61.3%, natural gas production - by 17.9% and coal - by 9.4%.

In January-July 2020, manufacturing enterprises produced goods worth 159.2 trillion soums, or 81.7% of the total industry.

In the structure of the manufacturing industry, the share of high-tech industries made up 1.6% (1.6% in January-July 2019), medium-hightech industries - 23.8% (26.3%), medium-low-tech industries - 39.5% (36.5%) and low-tech - 35.1% (35.6%).

In the manufacturing industry, the share of enterprises engaged in the production, repair, assembly of machinery and equipment, the production of cars, trailers, semi-trailers and other finished products made up 19.3% (the physical volume index reached 99.0% compared to January-July 2019), metallurgical industry - 25.1% (+4.0%), enterprises engaged in the production of textile, clothing and leather products - 15.9% (+8.5%), the production of food, drinks and tobacco products - 16.5% (+4.4%), enterprises engaged in the production of chemical products, rubber and plastic products - 9.9% (+0.3%).

In January-July 2020, the republic produced 610.6 thousand tons of motor gasoline (an increase of 2.6% compared to the corresponding period of 2019), 250.3 thousand tons of cotton yarn (8.8%), 1 064.6 thousand tons of flour from soft wheat and spelled (21.0%) and 157.9 million liters of beer (17.1%).

In January-July 2020, 472 buses were produced in the republic (production decrease by 56.9% compared to the corresponding period of 2019). The largest production volume in 2020 was noted in March, amounting to 176 pcs.

In January-July 2020, 137.2 thousand pieces of automotive engines were produced in the republic (an increase of 19.8% over the corresponding period of 2019). In 2020, the largest volume of production of these products was noted in July, amounting to 24.1 thousand pcs.

In January-July 2020, 2 169 trucks were produced in the republic (volume of production decreased by 27.3% compared to the corresponding period of 2019). In 2020, the largest volume of production of these products was noted in June, amounting to 389 pcs.

Compared to the same period of 2019, the manufacturing industry increased the production of passenger cars - by 1.1 times, automobile engines - by 1.2 times, motor gasoline - by 2.6%, radiators, silencers and exhaust pipes, clutches, steering wheels, steering columns, steering gear housings and their parts - 1.3 times.

In the automobile industry in January-July 2020, 41663 cars brand Nexia were produced (growth rates compared to the same period of 2019 made up 96.6%), 44901 - Cobalt (149.7%), 30368 - Gentra (124.5%), 30889 - Damas (111.7%), 16370 - Spark (138.9%) and 4520 - Labo (101.9%).

In January-July 2020, 630 tractors were produced in the republic (production growth decreased by 21% compared to January-July 2019). The largest volume of tractor production was recorded in April 2020, amounting to 234 pcs.

In January-July 2020, 573 rippers and cultivators were produced in the republic (a decrease in production was recorded by 52.7% compared to the corresponding period of 2019). In April 2020, the largest production volume of these products was noted, amounting to 144 pcs.

The overhaul of technological equipment made it possible to increase the capacity utilization of chemical enterprises and to exceed the production indicators of the previous year of ammonium sulfate (+6.7% against January-July 2019), potassium chloride (+3.1%) and caustic soda (3.5 times).

At the same time, there is a decrease in the production of methyl alcohol (55.3% compared to January-July 2019), paints and varnishes based on acrylic or vinyl polymers (89.7%).

The volume of products manufactured by the enterprises of power supply, gas supply, steam and air conditioning made up 15.3 trillion soums (7.8% of the total industry).

The index of the physical volume of the industry, compared to the corresponding period of 2019, increased by 9.4%.

The volume of products produced by enterprises of water supply, sewerage, waste collection and disposal made up 1.2 trillion soums (0.6% of the total industry).

Compared to the corresponding period of 2019, there was an increase in services for emptying, cleaning and processing cesspools, sedimentation tanks and septic tanks - by 33.6%. At the same time, a decrease in the volume of services for the removal, transportation of wastewater and their treatment by 4.3% and the production of textile waste by 9.3% was recorded.

As a result of measures taken to expand the range and stimulate the output of finished products, the production of consumer goods made up 64.5 trillion soums and, compared to the corresponding period of 2019, increased by 1.7%, the share in the total volume of industry was 33.1 %.

Compared to the same period of 2019, in the structure of production of consumer goods in January-July 2020, there was a decrease in the share of non-food products from 64.7% to 64.6%.

In the structure of food production, the production of wine and vodka products and beer made up 6.8% (7.2% in January-July 2019).

In the structure of consumer goods production in the republic, the largest share falls on Andijan region (23.7% of the total volume of consumer goods), Tashkent city (19.4%), Tashkent (11.0%), Samarkand (8.6%) and Fergana (6.2%) regions.

The largest growth in the production of consumer goods was recorded in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (+5.9% compared to the corresponding period of 2019), Khorezm (+7.1%), Andijan (+5.7%) regions and Tashkent city (+4.3%) exceeding the national average (+1.7%).

In the structure of food production in the republic, the largest share falls on the city of Tashkent (23.6% of the total volume of food products), Tashkent (16.4%) and Samarkand (9.4%) regions. At the same time, the largest growth in food production was recorded in Surkhandarya (+11.8%), Tashkent (+14.7%) regions and Tashkent city (+8.3%).

In the structure of production of non-food products of the republic, the largest share falls on Andijan region (33.5% of the total volume of nonfood products), Tashkent city (17.1%), Samarkand (8.2%), Khorezm (6.1%) and Tashkent (8.0%) region.

The largest growth in the production of non-food products was recorded in Khorezm (+14.4% compared to the corresponding period of 2019), Andijan (+6.0%), Tashkent (+4.3%) and Namangan (+3.5%) regions.

During the reporting period, enterprises with foreign investments produced goods worth 44.9 trillion soums, the share of which in the total production volume made up 23.0%.

The change in industrial production was significantly influenced by a decrease in the index of physical volume of industrial production in Samarkand (90.0% compared to January-July 2019), Kashkadarya (96.7%), Bukhara (97.5%), Syrdarya (99.8%). %) and Fergana (99.8%) regions.

At the same time, there is a significant increase in the production of consumer goods in Tashkent (=9.6% compared to January-July 2019), Khorezm (+7.1%), Namangan (+5.8%) regions, the Republic of Karakalpakstan (+5.9%) and Tashkent city (+4.3%).

In the structure of industrial output of the republic, the largest share falls on enterprises in Tashkent city (17.5% of the republican volume of industry), Navoi (17.5%), Tashkent (17.6%), Andijan (10.4%) and Fergana (5.7%) regions. The smallest share of industrial production was recorded at the enterprises of Surkhandarya (1.4%) and Jizzakh (1.6%) regions.

Analysis of the differentiation of industrial output per capita showed an excess of the national average (5 724.3 thousand soums) in Navoi (34 013.7 thousand soums), Tashkent (11 591.5 thousand soums), Andijan (6 430.3 thousand soums) regions and Tashkent city (13 166.0 thousand soums).

The production of consumer goods per capita in the reporting period in the republic made up 1 893.5 thousand soums, including in Tashkent city - 4 812.3 thousand soums, Andijan region - 4 861.7 thousand soums, Tashkent region - 2 392.6 thousand soums, Navoi region - 2 013.7 thousand soums.

During the reporting period, small businesses produced goods worth 49.4 trillion soums, the share of which in the total production volume was 25.3%.

In terms of regions, the largest share of small business was observed in Jizzakh region (57.4% of the total industry in the region), Surkhandarya (45.6%), Samarkand (43.6%), Namangan (45.9%), Fergana ( 37.8%) regions and Tashkent city (38.2%).

At the same time, the smallest share of small business was noted in Navoi (6.5%), Andijan (18.1%) and Tashkent (19.5%) regions, as well as in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (22.0%). Analysis of the structure of industrial production in the context of the regions of the republic showed that the low share of production of small businesses in the total volume of industry is explained by the significant production volume of large industrial enterprises located in these regions.

Today, there are 77.1 thousand industrial enterprises in the republic, of which 15.1 thousand (19.6% of the total number of registered enterprises) are in Tashkent city, 8.1 thousand (10.5%) are in Fergana, 8.1 thousand (10.5%) - Tashkent, 7.9 thousand (10.3%) - Andijan, 6.4 thousand (8.3%) - Samarkand and 6.0 thousand (7.8%) - Namangan region.

In January-July 2020, 11 246 industrial enterprises were newly created in the republic, of which 1 119 (10.0% of the total number of newly created) accounted for the city of Tashkent, 947 (8.4%) - Samarkand, 865 (7.7%) - Tashkent, 775 (6.9%) - Fergana, 646 (5.7%) - Khorezm region.

To date, the largest number of operating industrial enterprises is located in the cities of Andijan (3 010 units), Namangan (2 423 units), Samarkand (1 493 units), Kokand (1 358 units), as well as in the following districts of the city of Tashkent: Almazar (2 086 units), Chilanzar (1 902 units), Uchtepa (1 824 units), Yunusabad (1 641 units), Shaikhantakhur (1 361 units) and Sergeli (1 317 units).

As of August 1, 2020, the minimum number of operating industrial enterprises is located in the city of Shirin (50 units) and Sardoba (69 units) district of the Syrdarya region; Tamdy district (56 units) of Navoi region; Yangiabad district of (60 units) Jizzakh region; Kegeili (64 units), Kanlykul (65 units), Takhtakupyr (58 units) and Bozatau (23 units) regions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan; Bandikhan district (37 units) of Surkhandarya region.
