Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel Advises Citizens to Temporarily Leave the Country

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel has issued an urgent advisory for its citizens amid escalating tensions in the region.

Fellow citizens are strongly urged to remain vigilant, strictly follow the safety measures prescribed by Israeli authorities, and, where possible, stay in designated secure areas until further instructions are provided.

The embassy emphasized the importance of carefully adhering to official guidance, limiting unnecessary outdoor movement, and maintaining calm.

Citizens are also advised to temporarily leave Israel until the situation stabilizes. Special attention was drawn to the “Begin” border crossing on the Israel-Egypt border, which operates 24/7; Uzbekistan citizens do not require a visa to enter the Sinai Peninsula.

To expedite border procedures, it is recommended to pay border fees online in advance. Use of other land crossings is not advised, and operating hours may change, so travelers should confirm up-to-date information before planning their trip.

The embassy also urges citizens to regularly monitor updates from the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs and overseas diplomatic missions, and to follow warnings and recommendations issued by Israeli authorities.

In emergencies, citizens can contact the embassy at 03-672-2466, 03-672-2371, 03-758-5075, 03-758-5076, +972 54 485 1397, or via email at il.uzembassy@mfa.
