Electricity supplies to Namangan to grow by 10.8%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Electricity supplies to consumers of Namangan region will increase by 10.5% in the autumn-winter period 2020-21 compared to the same period of last season. This was reported on 11 September during a visiting meeting of the Special Headquarters of the Ministry of Energy in the region.

Representatives of the Special Headquarters arrived in the region to directly analyze the progress of preparations for providing consumers with electricity, natural and liquefied gas in the coming cold season.

According to the calculations of the demand, it is planned to supply to consumers in general 2 billion 12.7 million kW / h of electricity at the JSC "Namangan Enterprise of Territorial Electric Grids", which is 150.2 million kW / h more than in last season (+ 10.8%).

The total number of consumers in the region is 577 thousand 743 units, including 24.4 thousand legal and 553.3 thousand physical consumers (households).

To provide Namangan region with electricity, power lines with a total length of 28.6 thousand km and 5 thousand 933 transformer stations are being operated.

By 1 October, according to the plans, the repair of 1 thousand 320.4 km of power transmission lines and 585 transformer substations will be completed. In the course of preparation for the crucial season, 28 transformer substations, 39.2 tons of transformer oil and 57 km of cable products have been prepared and are available.

In addition, for the timely elimination of any malfunctions, 19 emergency brigades have been established at the JSC "Namangan Enterprise of Territorial Electric Grids".

To meet the needs of consumers in the region, it is also planned to supply 1 billion 287.2 million cubic meters of natural gas in the coming autumn-winter period. This is 23.6% more than last season. The total number of gas consumers in the region is 177,965, including 3.4 thousand legal and 174.6 thousand physical consumers.

Gas pipelines with a total length of 5.4 thousand km and 5.7 thousand gas distribution points are used to provide consumers in the region with natural gas.

To date, 0.6 km of gas pipelines have been completely repaired, 1.0 km of gas pipelines have been reconstructed, 4 thousand 931 gas distribution points have been examined for serviceability.

From 1 October, 13 brigades of 52 employees and using 13 units of special equipment will operate in the region.

In addition, in the coming cold season, 43.7 thousand tons of liquefied gas will be supplied to consumers in the region, which is 52% more than in the previous season.

Today, there are 413.2 thousand physical consumers of liquefied gas in 754 makhallas of 12 cities and districts of the Namangan region.

To supply consumers with liquefied gas, the region uses 22 wagons, 12 tanks and 73 ISUZU trucks.

Also in this autumn-winter period, consumers will be supplied with 236.6 thousand tons of coal products.
