Eldest woman in world dies in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
The eldest woman in the world Tuti Yusupova died at the age of 135, local newspaper Erkin Karakalpakstan (Free Karakalpakstan) reported.
Citizen of Turtkul district of Karakalpakstan would mark her 135th birthday in July 2015. Her birth date is 1 July 1880, according to her passport. However, she was never recognized as the most eldest woman in the world officially.
In 2008, President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a decree on awarding Shukhrat medal to Tuti Yusupova.
