Eight-month-old lion found in Tashkent region

According to the program, an eight-month-old African lion was illegally kept in a cage. The private house under construction belongs to Gulnoza Abzalova, the report said.

The animal belongs to the kennel of the private enterprise, but they could not provide any documents granting the right to import and keep the animal.

A skinny and hungry predator was kept in inadequate conditions. In a half-meter cell, there was no place to move.

The African lion was sent to the Tashkent zoo to recuperate. A falcon was also found in the house.

Law enforcement agencies began an investigation.
