EBRD keeps economic development forecasts for Uzbekistan

In report “Regional Economic Prospects in EBRD countries of operations: July 2010 Update”, the bank said the economy of Uzbekistan will grow by 8.2% in 2010. In previous May report, the bank forecasted the same level of growth for Uzbekistan.

The forecast of the EBRD for 2011 did not change as well and made up 7%.

As earlier reported, the GDP of Uzbekistan grew by 8% year-on-year in the first half of 2010.
