Earthquake with epicenter in Tajikistan shakes Uzbekistan

According to the Tashkent seismic station, the earthquake with the epicenter in Tajikistan was felt in Uzbekistan.

The epicenter of the earthquake was 260 km away from Tashkent in eastern direction in the territory of Tajikistan. The earthquake magnitude at the epicenter was 5.2.

Power of underground tremors in Ferghana city was equal to 2 points, Andijan city – 2 points, Namangan – 2 points and Tashkent city – about 2 point.

There is no information on destruction and causalities, the Uzbek ministry said.
