Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan approved the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the establishment of the highest degree order”.

According to the Law, the Dustlik Order is awarded to the citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and, in some cases, stateless persons for special merits in strengthening centuries-old relations of friendship and good neighborliness between fraternal peoples, consolidation of society and unity of peoples.

In addition, the order is also awarded for fruitful activities in the development of a comprehensive strategic partnership, achievement of inter-regional harmony, as well as active participation in strengthening mutual understanding and trust between peoples.
