Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 23 March, at a plenary meeting of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, draft laws “On establishment of the Order of Solom Avlod Uchun III and IV Degrees” and “On the Establishment of the Medal “Solom Avlod Uchun” were considered and adopted.

On 5 May 2020, at the next plenary meeting of the lower house of parliament, the above draft laws were reconsidered and adopted by deputies. Their names are changed to “On the establishment of the Salomatlik Order”, “On the establishment of the Soglom Turmush Medal”.

The Salomatlik Order will be awarded to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the development of the healthcare sector, improving public health, and strengthening international cooperation. The order may also be awarded to foreign citizens and persons without citizenship. The Salomatlik order has two degrees.

Persons awarded the Salomatlik Order of the 1st degree receive a one-time monetary reward in the amount of 30 times the base calculated amount. And the Salomatlik Order of the II degree - a one-time monetary reward in the amount of 25 times the base calculated value. Persons awarded with these orders may also enjoy other benefits defined in legislative acts.
