Doniyor Saliev wins a gold medal and a license for the Tokyo Para Olympics

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 November, the World Cup in Athletics kicked off in Dubai (UAE). It is noteworthy that para-athletes from more than 100 countries of the world take part in this competition, who have a chance to directly obtain a license for the Tokyo Para Olympics.

On the first day of the championship, para-athletes of Uzbekistan performed successfully. In the long jump (category T12), our representative Doniyor Saliev showed a result of 7.44 meters, which provided him with a gold medal and a license for Tokyo 2020.
