Development of agriculture machinery discussed in Kashkadarya region

Members of UzLiDeP, MPs of Legislative Chamber and local Councils of People’s Deputies, departments of economy, agriculture and water management, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Farmers’ Council and others participated in the event.

The event was organized to discuss issues of further developing management of agriculture machinery enterprises and their financial rehabilitation.

Uzbek President Islam Karimov signed a resolution on 15 May, which is directed at further improving activities of the agriculture machinery enterprises.

The participants noted that decision on creation of Uzagrosanoatmashholding was in time and it will help to modernize agriculture machinery industry in Uzbekistan.

The attendees underlined that it is necessary to improve works of educational establishments, which specializes in preparing specialists for agriculture machinery industry, and revise education system in this area. They also noted that large and small enterprises should activate their cooperation.

The participants proposed to develop national programme on developing legislative base for doing business and strengthening parliamentary control over execution of the laws.

The participants also developed proposals and recommendations on further improving activities of the enterprises of agriculture machinery and legislative framework.
