Deputy Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan appointed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan was appointed. It was reported by the press service of the defense department.

Oybek Ismoilov was appointed as deputy defense minister for armament and equipment.

Prior to that, he served as deputy commander of the Tashkent military district for armaments.

In this post, he replaced Shukhrat Halmukhamedov, who by the decree of the head of Uzbekistan was appointed as deputy secretary of the Security Council under the President.
