Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The appeal instance of the Tashkent City Administrative Court considered the appeal of the Antimonopoly Committee of Uzbekistan (AMK) against the decision of the Tashkent City Administrative Court from 30 October 2020 in the case of UzAuto Motors.
According to the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan, the arguments of AKM and UzAuto Motors were heard during the trial. The prosecutor also shared his opinion.
The court upheld the ruling and special ruling of the first instance of 30 October and rejected the appeal.
Also, the appellate instance announced a refusal to consider the petition to involve Azimavtomotive and consumers in the consideration of the case as a third party.
UzAuto Motors went to court to appeal against the decision of the Antimonopoly Committee, which ordered the company to reduce prices for cars and recalculate customers.
On 30 October, the Tashkent City Administrative Court satisfied the suit of UzAuto Motors to invalidate the decision of the Antimonopoly Committee (AMK) on 19 August. The Prosecutor General’s Office also refused to open a case against UzAuto.
