Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 26 March 2021, a meeting was held with the President of the Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade of Portugal "AICEP Portugal Global" Luis Phillip de Castro Henriquez in the format of video conferencing.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Portugal and France S. Rustambaev, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry A. Ikramov and Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry F. Usmanov, as well as Deputy Director of the Investment Promotion Agency of Uzbekistan O. Elmuratov.

During the meeting, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Portugal and France S. Rustambaev and the President of the Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade of Portugal “AICEP Portugal Global” AICEP Luis Phillip de Castro Henriquez made a welcoming speech. There were also presentations on the development potential of Uzbekistan and Portugal.

During the event, the parties discussed the issue of future cooperation between Portugal and Uzbekistan.
