Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in the capital of Tatarstan will begin work in early 2019. Consul General of Uzbekistan in Kazan Fariddin Nasriev told TASS about this.

Nasriev noted that the general consulate of Uzbekistan in Kazan will open in early 2019.

It should be recalled that Fariddin Nasriev was appointed as Consul General of Uzbekistan in Kazan in late October.

The consular district of the newly opened Consulate General of Uzbekistan includes the territories of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Kirov Region, Republic of Mari El, Republic of Mordovia, Nizhny Novgorod Region, Orenburg Region, Penza Region, Perm Territory, Samara Region, Saratov Region, Republic of Tatarstan, Udmurt Republic, Ulyanovsk Region, Chuvash Republic.
