Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During an inspection of an enterprise for the production of gas blocks in the Tashkent region, it was revealed that lime products are also produced here, illegally using natural gas.
Mega Block Investment, located in the village of Nurabad, Akhangaran district, Tashkent region, has a gas supply agreement with the Khududgaz Toshkent branch (No. 12-09 / 346 of 07/01/2020), which specifies only equipment for the production of aerated concrete and household gas appliances (with a total hourly gas consumption of 431.84 cubic meters).
However, on 7 December 2020, during an actual visit by representatives of the structure of the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan to this production, it was found that it was additionally equipped with 313 home-made gas burners for the production of lime in three home-made furnaces (measuring 4x25 meters).
At the same time, Mega Block Investment LLC has significant accounts receivable for used natural gas in the amount of 135 million soums as of 1 November 2020.
In addition, experts have found that the gas metering devices used in the production of aerated concrete and in household gas appliances are out of order.
The main reason for this assumption was the lack of recording the readings in the memory of the gas metering device until November 27, 2020, on the basis of which the experts concluded that the gas meters were exposed to external influences.
This enterprise, in accordance with technical condition No. 0332, belongs to the category of non-guaranteed consumers for the supply of natural gas in the winter.
The pressure of natural gas in the network at the time of the detection of the case was 2.7 kgf / cm2. Based on the analysis of the current situation, according to preliminary calculations, this enterprise caused a total of 3 billion 189 million 417 thousand soums of damage. That is, the volume of the theft of natural gas amounted to 3 million 189.5 thousand cubic meters, which allows a month to supply natural gas for the needs of over 3,500 households.
As a result of the revealed facts, primary documents are currently being drawn up for transfer to law enforcement agencies.
It must be remembered that illegal connections by individuals and legal entities to gas supply networks are also one of the reasons for the drop in gas pressure in the population's network, which leads to public appeals to the Ministry of Energy.
This case was revealed as a result of a field study of the state of affairs with the uninterrupted supply of the population and social facilities with electricity and natural gas in the autumn-winter period. The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan continues work in this direction.
