Citizens of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region can purchase railway and air tickets on preferential terms

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On state programme on development of Aral Sea Basin for 2017-2021” on 18 January 2017.

The document envisages measures on realization of railway and air tickets on special preferential tariffs to the citizens of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region.

New order of realization of tickets to citizens of Aral Sea Basin will come into force from 1 February 2017, the resolution said.

Ministry of Finance in cooperation with Uzbekistan Temir Yollari and Uzbekistan Havo Yollari should approve preferential tariffs within a month.
