Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chevrolet has become the fastest growing brand in Kazakhstan in 2020, entering the TOP of the most popular cars in 2020.

Cars produced by UzAuto Motors were once again on the first lines of the ratings of the automotive market in Kazakhstan. According to the Association of the Kazakh Auto Business (AKAB), in December 2020, 2,493 Chevrolet cars were sold in the Kazakh market, which amounted to 26.7% of the total new car market in the country.

Despite the wide choice in the car market of Kazakhstan, cars produced by UzAuto Motors throughout 2020 continue to increase their share in sales and occupy the top positions in the rating of the best-selling brands. Thus, in December last year, Chevrolet again became a leader in the TOP-5 brands, overtaking Hyundai, Lada, Toyota and Kia.

Chevrolet Cobalt took the 1st place and Chevrolet Nexia - 2nd place in the list of the best-selling models. The same models topped the rating of the most popular cars for the period from October to December 2020.

In total, according to the results of the IV quarter of 2020, 2,892 Chevrolet Cobalt cars and 2,615 Chevrolet Nexia vehicles were sold in Kazakhstan.
