CHETRA opens a representative office in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - CHETRA, a Russian company, organizes the production of industrial equipment in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The partner will be Uzbekistan Temir Yollari and its new UE Plant Excavator and Caterpillar Repair Plant located in Syrdarya.

“The assembly of equipment under the CHETRA brand will be organized on the basis of the enterprise. This is the whole demanded line - bulldozers with engine power from 150 to 590 hp. and pipe layers with a loading capacity from 25 to 100 tons. The plant will also carry out repairs and maintenance during the warranty period of the CHETRA tracked vehicles operated in the republic. Already this year, the plant together with our specialists completed the first joint project - overhaul of the heavy class bulldozer CHETRA T35. The restoration of the machine was carried out by order of Uzbekugol JSC, the bulldozer will resume its work in the quarry of the Angren coal mine,” Vladimir Antonov, executive director of CHETRA LLC, comments.

Organization of production of CHETRA industrial equipment in the Republic of Uzbekistan will not only expand the company’s presence in the region, but also develop export of its products to neighboring countries - Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan. In addition, local production in Uzbekistan will make it possible to adapt the design of the equipment to the special requirements of customers, as well as provide consumers with round-the-clock technical support and spare parts.

“A joint project with CHETRA will allow developing the export potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan through the supply of assembled equipment to neighboring countries. Organization of the production of Russian equipment at our plant in the city of Syrdarya will allow us to use its existing machine-building capacities, as well as create additional jobs,” Bahodir Eshmurodov, director of the UE Excavator and Caterpillar Repair Plant, said.
