Checkpoint at Uzbek-Tajik border reopened

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A checkpoint “Andarhon” (“Patar”) between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan resumed its work on 10 February 2018, the program “Akhborot 24” of the TV channel “Uzbekistan 24” reported.

According to the program, the point, which was previously closed for crossing the border, is open for individuals to pass in a simplified order.

Now Uzbekistan and Tajikistan are working to abolish trade restrictions, unify tariffs for transportation of goods, issues on rehabilitation of interstate roads and simplify the crossing of borders by individuals.
