Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A government resolution “On Improving Customs Procedures for Clearance of Goods and Vehicles Imported into the Customs Territory of Uzbekistan” was adopted.
According to the resolution, it is allowed to import into the territory of Uzbekistan goods in respect of which a certificate of conformity, a sanitary-epidemiological certificate, an environmental certificate issued by the competent authorities in the prescribed manner are required only if they are approved for issue in the Single Window customs information system;
Release for free circulation of goods for which the initial customs declaration was previously submitted, is carried out within three hours from the date of the customs declaration of the goods, with the exception of cases when risk situations are detected by the automated risk management system.
This provision will enter into force on 3 April 2020.
