Ceremony Held at Kuksaroy to Welcome the President of Finland

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 31 October, an official welcoming ceremony for the President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb, who arrived in the Republic of Uzbekistan on an official visit, was held at the Kuksaroy residence.

The square in front of the residence was decorated with the national flags of both countries, and an honor guard was lined up. The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, warmly greeted the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium.

The national anthems of Uzbekistan and Finland were performed. The heads of state reviewed the honor guard and introduced the members of their official delegations to each other.

Following the ceremony and an official photo session, high-level talks between the delegations of the two countries commenced.
