CEC of Belarus to monitor presidential elections in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Representatives of the Belarusian Central Election Commission (CEC) will monitor the presidential elections in Uzbekistan, scheduled for 29 March 2015.
The Belarusian delegation will include Chairperson of the Central Election Commission Lidia Yermoshina, and CEC member Marina Rakhmanova.
Currently, the CIS is forming its observation mission. The delegation will be headed by Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev.
His candidacy was approved at the meeting of the CIS Council of Plenipotentiary Representatives.
