CEC forms electoral districts on election of President

The CEC held a session on 7 January 2015, which was chaired by the chairperson of the commission Mirza-Ulugbek Abdusalomov.

At the session, the resolution on formation of electoral districts on election of the President of Uzbekistan was adopted in line with the article 9 and 14 of the law “On elections of the President of Uzbekistan. Electoral districts were formed within the borders of Karakalpakstan, regions and Tashkent city by the CEC.

At the session, the participants discussed other issues, related with organization of holding presidential elections.

The presidential elections in Uzbekistan will be held on 29 March 2015.
