Carrefour launches an online delivery service in partnership with Zakaz.uz

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Carrefour retail chain, owned and operated by Majid Al Futtime in Uzbekistan, announced a partnership with Zakaz.uz.

The partnership allows Carrefour to offer customers a fast and convenient home delivery service when shopping online, seven days a week. On the Zakaz.uz platform, shoppers can choose from several product categories, including quality food and non-food items, as well as household appliances. This includes agriculture, meat and dairy products, prepared and processed foods, childcare and personal care products, and exclusive products under the Carrefour brand.

“Carrefour is constantly looking for ways to provide innovative services that make everyday shopping more flexible and convenient for customers. In partnership with Zakaz.uz, Carrefour provides customers with reliable and timely direct access to their homes. This will enable us to meet our needs. existing e-commerce opportunities, as well as the growing needs of existing and new customers,” said Gu Taeg Kim, Regional Manager for Carrefour Uzbekistan, Majid Al Futtime.

Carrefour offers customers a wide range of high quality and inexpensive fruits and vegetables, organic and biological products, soft drinks, food, dairy, meat and fish products, frozen, ready-made and semi-finished products, with more than 10,000 products (it is planned to expand the product name to 20,000)

Zakaz.uz began its work in Uzbekistan in 2020. All processes have already been debugged, since Zakaz.uz has more than 10 years of successful experience in the Ukrainian market. Orders with products are collected by professional assemblers who carefully select and check each product, the expiration date and the integrity of its packaging. You also don't have to worry about the safety of products: they are delivered in special thermo boxes, which provide the necessary temperature regime.

“Now the delivery service zakaz.uz is available only to residents of Tashkent, but we are considering other cities for the development of our business in Uzbekistan. Recently, modern trade formats have been opening very actively in the country. There are all the prerequisites to believe that Uzbekistan within the next 10 years will turn into a major regional player. By connecting another partner, Zakaz food delivery service has consolidated its position in the e-grocery market in Uzbekistan.
