I would like to note that after Shavkat Mirziyoyev took office as President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, cooperation between our countries is intensifying, in particular in the trade, economic and investment areas.
The Uzbek people are a close friend and reliable partner for us. In December 2019, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev paid an official visit to Japan, during which fruitful meetings were held with the Emperor of Japan, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and other officials, as well as representatives of large private business. This visit became a great stimulus for the further development of bilateral relations between Japan and Uzbekistan.
I am very glad that today’s event gave a unique opportunity to its participants - Japanese companies to present their advanced technology to Uzbekistan.
I am confident that, despite the pandemic, today’s meeting will yield concrete results.
In conclusion, I sincerely wish His Excellency the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan well-being and good health. "
Yoshiro Matsumoto, President of Colors International:
“Today I participated with great interest in the event organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Japan and FEC.
Our company was founded 25 years ago. We mainly work in the tourism and hospitality industry. Recently, we have begun to expand the range of our activities. The new activity of the company is the food industry. We are engaged in the production and sale of various types of food products such as rice, green tea, confectionery, etc.
Today I learned about positive changes and reforms in Uzbekistan. It should be emphasized that in a short period of time, work has been carried out in Uzbekistan to further liberalize the country’s economy, improve the investment climate, improve legislation in the field of entrepreneurship, and provide unprecedented benefits and preferences for foreign investors.
Uzbekistan has great potential in the field of tourism. In this regard, we intend to discuss the possibilities of implementing mutually beneficial projects in this area.
