The development of international youth cooperation and the disclosure of opportunities for the youth of Russia and Uzbekistan today are an integral and important part of building and strengthening relations between the two states as a whole. The importance of the role of young people in both countries is invaluable, as evidenced by the many projects and state educational programs implemented in the territories of states.

“Cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan is taking place in order to implement various framework agreements in the field of both scientific, technical and humanitarian development. Acts of cooperation between the higher educational institutions of our countries have been signed. And, of course, interaction is being carried out within the framework of the Council for Youth Affairs of the CIS member states. All this allows us to work as often and to a greater extent in various areas that are now fixed between us,” commented Denis Ashirov, director of the Department of State Youth Policy of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

Development in the field of youth policy is especially important for Uzbekistan, because today 60% of the population of the Republic falls on the younger generation. Deputy Director of the Agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozonov Farrukh Farhojonovich spoke about this in his speech at the opening of the forum: “For us, youth is a special category of citizens. Today we are focusing on strengthening relations between volunteer organizations, developing youth entrepreneurship, discussing solutions to problems in the field of migration policy and working in many other areas. In total, over 230 laws and regulations in the field of youth policy have been adopted in Uzbekistan over the past 4 years. "

Also, other honored guests spoke about the goals, objectives and prospects for the development of cooperation between the youth of Russia and Uzbekistan in their greetings, including: Deputy Director of the Agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Kattakhanova Dilnozakhon, Deputy Director of the Third Department of CIS Countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Alexander A. Musienko, Director Of the Republican Center for Career Guidance and Psychological and Pedagogical Diagnostics under the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Lilia Rifkatovna Gainutdinova, Deputy Chairman of the Central Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Kamalak children’s organization Indira Abdukarimovna Kholdarova, Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in the Republic of Uzbekistan Mikhail Valerievich Vozhdaev.

Participants of the program "Prospects for Youth Cooperation" made a great emphasis on the development of interuniversity cooperation in the educational and scientific spheres and noted that it is necessary to increase the number of joint events with the participation of experts in a particular field. The topics of the next youth meeting "Russia - Uzbekistan", which, as they hope, will be held in full-time format, will be "Youth Entrepreneurship" and "Research Activities of Russia and Uzbekistan in the Youth Sphere".
