Bukhara region: People receive assistance in the restoration after the disaster

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - As you know, as a result of natural wind and rain that passed on 27 April in Bukhara region, social facilities and a number of residential areas were seriously damaged. Along with many organizations and enterprises of the country, workers of structural divisions of the Tashkent, Karshi, Kokand, Bukhara and Termez regional railway junctions of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari JSC are actively participating in the restoration work. This was reported by the information and analytical media center.

More than 1340 people, including the management team and responsible units, are making a feasible contribution at 15 facilities that suffered great damage in Alat and Karakul districts of Bukhara region. The main work is carried out to dismantle the destroyed and non-operational roof of the affected infrastructure and residential buildings, as well as to restore it.

“Until today, at all the facilities distributed for our work headquarters, 17,896 slate sheets were laid on just 34,360 square meters, 5962.5 meters of rafters were installed, 17434 rails, 3949 square meters of corrugated board were updated, 600 square meters of polisol and bitumen were poured,” says Shahboz Juraev, civil engineer, production department of the Karshi Carriage Depot. - Also, our workers erect damaged fence walls in the courtyards of residential buildings.

Every day, employees hear words of gratitude from residents for their support. Significant work is done in a short time. The director of school No. 18 of Alat district expressed special gratitude for the help.

“The storm wind has significantly damaged the roof of our school,” the school principal, Ilkh Kodirov, shares with us. - They helped us with the restoration of the roof and roofing. We also collapsed the ceiling in front of the entrance to the building. It was also restored and strengthened. And the roof of the closed gym of our school, an area of 300 square meters, was completely renovated. We are very grateful for the prompt assistance provided, because May is known for its thunderstorms and rains. Thanks to everyone for their complicity and selfless work!

It should also be noted that all conditions have been created for workers participating in rehabilitation workers. Three meals a day are provided. Every day they check everyone’s well-being, including regularly conducting tests to identify the coronovirus COVID-19. All necessary measures to protect builders are strictly observed. All of them are provided with a working uniform and personal protective equipment.
