Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Finance was instructed to cover from the reserve fund of the Government the costs of delivering bronze bas-reliefs of 14 war heroes to Uzbekistan from China.

This order was given by order of the Cabinet of Ministers, according to which the above cargo was delivered by flights on board the aircraft of the Air Force of Uzbekistan on 17-24 April.

The purpose of the adoption of this order is the implementation of the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. from 10/23/2019 No. PP-4495 “On a worthy celebration of the 75th anniversary of the victory in World War II”, which envisages the construction of Victory Park in the Almazar district of Tashkent.

Based on the Victory Park Concept approved by the President, a square of Uzbek generals will be built on the territory of the park. In the center of the square, a monument to General Sabir Rakhimov is erected at a certain height. On both sides, to the foot of the monument, bas-reliefs are installed depicting images of 301 Uzbek warriors awarded the title “Hero of the Soviet Union”.
